Four Moms Annual Clothing Drive is currently accepting donations of new and gently used school clothes.

Moffat County Balloon Fest

In its fourth year, the clothing drive provides clothes for school children of all ages. Anyone who has clothing, shoes, coats or school supplies they would like to donate is encouraged to call 371-1277 or 371-9789 to set up donation arrangements.

Donations are accepted for children K-12. While clothing drive organizers appreciate the many families who have inquired about donating baby clothes, the clothing drive is designed for school aged children to obtain clothing for school, and baby items are not accepted at this time.

The Four Moms 4th Annual Clothing Drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 11th and 12th and the old American Legion building, 543 Broadway in Rock Springs.

Donations are requested at least one week before the sale. Clothing donations are not accepted at the American Legion. If you would like to donate, please call the phone numbers above.

Organizers would like to thank Dawn Trujillo for donating storage units, the American Legion for donating use of their building for the event, and to all the community members who have donated.

About Four Moms Clothing Drive

When one mom noticed a need in the community, she took action. Noticing some families struggle to provide new school clothes, she spoke with friends and family about how they could help—and the Four Moms Clothing Drive was born.

The four mothers who organize the event asked to remain anonymous, seeking only to help the community.

While it was fairly small the first year, it has grown to an event that helps hundreds of families find school clothes and supplies for their kids.

Last year, over 350 families attended the event.

Families in need are encouraged to drop by and find clothing for the upcoming school year. All items offered are free of charge. Parents and kids are encouraged to take as many items they want, no questions asked.

The 2017 event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. August 11th and 12th at the old American Legion building in Rock Springs.
