The Wyoming Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife is hosting a legislative preview in Evanston.
The preview will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 23 at the Evanston Machine Shop, 1440 South Main Street in Evanston.
Elected officials from Lincoln and Uinta Counties have been invited to attend the event. This gives attendees the opportunity to hear about the upcoming legislative session and learn what issues will be faced. This year is a budget year, so the session will run 20 days beginning February 8.
In addition, this provides an opportunity for people to meet their legislators in person.
Doors for the event open at 5:30 and provides time for attendees to mingle and talk with elected officials. Light Hors d’oeuvres will be served 6 p.m.-7 p.m. County Commissioners and state legislators will talk about the upcoming legislative session 7 p.m.-9 p.m. A question answer period will follow.
