Three people were arrested on drug charges yesterday after detectives allegedly found drugs while executing a search warrant.
According to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at 413 Elias Avenue Apartment #1 at about 9:45 p.m. on May 4, 2016.
Detectives allegedly found small amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine, and heroin as well as items commonly used for the ingestion of controlled substances during the search.
For people were in the apartment when the search was executed, and three of those people were arrested.
Michael Barry Williams, 27 and listed as homeless, was arrested for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine as well as a Probation Violation.
Joshua Thomas Barnson, 18 of Rock Springs, was arrested for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana.
Jay Earl Barnson, 44 of Rock Springs, was arrested for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Heroin as well as Use of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana and Heroin.
At the time of this writing, all three men were still being held at the Sweetwater County Detention facility.
