Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism has released two television commercials in the Salt Lake City, UT market. 
According to a press release, Sweetwater Travel and Tourism worked with Vital Films and Miles Media to produce the commercials that were filmed during the summer of 2015. The commercials provide a glimpse into all that Sweetwater County has to offer, whether an explorer is stopping over on their way to the National Parks, or making Sweetwater County their final destination.
The “Create Your Own Adventure” commercial explores activities such as wakeboarding on the Flaming Gorge, exploring the Killpecker Sand Dunes, floating the Green River, and golfing at the White Mountain Golf Course.
The “Create Your Own Family Adventure” commercial starts off with fishing at Flaming Gorge, and includes kayaking the Green River, hiking to the White Mountain Petroglyphs, and spending an evening at Wyoming’s Big Show, the Sweetwater County Fair.
“With the 3% lodging tax, we are thrilled to be able to capture high-quality videography to promote Sweetwater County in the Salt Lake City market. We are confident that these efforts will raise awareness and generate additional visitation to the area,” said Jenissa Meredith, Executive Director of Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism.
In April of 2015, the Lodging Tax in Sweetwater County increased from 2% to 3% allowing Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism to broaden their marketing efforts and expand their reach.
