The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Special Weather Statement warning that heavy snow showers will bring near zero visibility and slick roads. The statement is in effect until 7 p.m. tonight.
The Special Weather Statement is issued for East Sweetwater County, Green Mountains, Rattlesnake Range, and Upper Green River Basin. The impacted area includes the cities of Rock Springs, Green River, Wamsutter, Jeffrey City, La Barge, Big Piney, and Farson.
