The Rock Springs High School Class of 2007 will be hosting a memorial 5k fun run on July 23rd in honor of Chris Greenman. Greenman is the husband of RSHS 2007 class member, Darci (Rawson) Greenman.
Chris was diagnosed with bone cancer two years ago. He underwent several intensive surgeries and long rounds of in-patient chemotherapy that could only be administered at The Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Despite a bravely fought battle, Chris passed away on July 6, 2017. He leaves behind his wife of six years, Darci, and their two-year-old daughter, Eliza.
The C. Greenman Memorial 5k will start at 10 AM on Sunday, July 23rd on the west side of the Young at Heart Senior Citizen Center. Sign-ups are at 9:15 am. The entry fee is by donation.
Wrist bands will be available by donation and a Taco Time food truck will be at the finish line. If participants aren’t able to make the fun run they can still donate at gofundme.com/j868fud5. All proceeds will go directly to the Greenman family.
