The Rock Springs High School Cheerleaders recently attended a Universal Cheer Association camp at the University of Utah campus.
The cheerleaders earned five trophies at the UCA camp, which was held June 11-14.
Trophies earned include:
- 1st place in Cheer Evaluation
- 1st place in Extreme Routine Evaluation
- 1st place in Side lineEvaluation
- 1st place in Overall Game Day Evaluation
- Improvement Trophy for Team Most Improved Each Day.
In addition, they earned a Traditions Plaque for “Inspiration and Leadership On and Off the Field” along with a Spirit Stick and a large cooler.
They also received their Squad Credentialing Certificate which qualifies the team for leadership training, safety awareness, proper technique and progressions.
The team learned new materials each day and were judged/scored at the end of that day on high performance.
