Business owner Kris Valdez said the fence of his property was cut at the corner of Noble Drive and Elk Street. The perpetrators cut a large hole in the fence and stole a Herd polished aluminum front bumper for a Ford Super-Duty truck. Valdez says the retail value of the bumper is about $3200.

The burglary occurred sometime between 12:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday, when the crime was discovered.

Valdez is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the crime. He is also willing to provide a smaller reward for information that leads to the return of the bumper.

Anyone with information can contact the Rock Springs Police Department Dispatch at 307-352-1575 or Valdez at 307-362-7154. Valdez says anyone claiming the reward can remain anonymous.

The stolen bumper is a fairly unique item and is easily recognizable. The bumper is similar to the one in the photo below.
