A man from Wheatland, Wyo. died in a car crash early Sunday morning.
Gregory Taylor, 46, sustained fatal injuries when his truck failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and went off the road, according to a release from Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Taylor was traveling north on Wyoming State Highway 311 about four miles west of Wheatland at about 3 a.m. Sunday when his 2002 Ford F-250 did not negotiate a left-hand curve in the highway. The truck left the road to the east and rolled.
WHP says Taylor was wearing his seatbelt but still suffered fatal injuries on scene.
Driver fatigue and alcohol use are being investigated as possible contributing factors in the crash.
Taylor’s death marks the 16th highway fatality in Wyoming in 2016. At the same time last year there were 46 highway fatalities in Wyoming.
