Inspired by many people’s love of books, the White Mountain Library is hosting a “Date with a Book” event.
Date with a Book is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at White Mountain Library, 2935 Sweetwater Drive in Rock Springs.
“February is about love, relationships and Valentine’s Day,” said Library Manager Michelle Maser in a release from Sweetwater County Libraries. “People love books, books on CD and movies – they help people cope with life, understand things, learn things, and it all has entertainment value.”
At the event, participants will share their insights and favorite parts of books and movies that they loved.
“We will also take a look at ‘TedTalks’ and preview a few hot topics related to Valentine’s Day,” Maser said.
Participants are asked to bring their favorite book, book on CD, or movie, or some information about it.
The event is free and open to the public and hot tea and cookies will be served. The event is expected to last about an hour.
