Bicyclist Injured After Hit and Run

A 52-year-old man was injured after a truck collided with his bicycle Friday night and left the scene.

According to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department, police responded to the crash in the area of Hancock Bridge and Center Street at about 8:50 p.m. on Friday.

An investigation found that a 52-year-old man was riding his bicycle traveling east when he was struck by a vehicle which left the scene and continued east onto Center Street. The cyclist was transported to the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County with injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 1987-1997 white Ford truck with damage to the passenger side headlight.
