An 82-year-old man was hit by a truck Tuesday afternoon in downtown Rock Springs.
Police responded to a call at about 3:36 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of D Street and Rennie Street.
Police found that the 82-year-old man was crossing the street when he was hit by the truck, according to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department. The man was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for treatment of his injuries. His condition is not known at this time.
The driver of the truck, 41-year-old Meghan Mullin of Rock Springs, was cited for allegedly failing to yield to the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
