The public is invited to attend the 12th Annual Dean Quail Run The Gorge Against Cancer Benefit & Poker Run, hosted by the Chariots of Light, is scheduled for this Saturday, July 29.
Bikers, Hot Rods or anyone with wheels are welcome.
The poker run began as a way to benefit community members who are battling cancer.
This years event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Restoration Ministries, located at 518 Elk Street in Rock Springs. Interested participants can join in the poker run or after the Red Desert Rodeo Parade at Bunning Park.
There will be a free BBQ provided by the Chariots Of Light Motorcycle Ministry, Music by Plunders, Live Auctions, Door Prizes, as well as other opportunities to donate to recipients.
Proceeds from this years Poker Run will benefit Kim Ackerman, Mindi Vermeulen, Doug Schmidt, and Felicia Davis.
