Deer Trail Assisted Living is hosting the second annual “11 Miles for 9/11” Run, BBQ, and Car Show on Saturday, September 10th.
The event is hosted by Deer Trail Assisted Living and benefits Rock Springs VIRS Respite Care.
The 11-mile race kicks off at 8 a.m. at Deer Trail Assisted Living, located at 2360 Reagan Avenue in Rock Springs. People can complete all 11 miles as an individual or as a team.
You can walk, run, or bike during the race. The only rule is that you must carry an American Flag.
Entry for the race is $10 per person or $50 per team.
The BBQ, Car Show, and Kid’s Run begin at 11:30 a.m. The BBQ and Car Show are open to the public, even those who did not participate in the race.
