Today, the BLM office in Rock Springs is overseeing a project in the Bitter Creek Drainage called the Pierotto Ditch Diversion Project which aims to reduce impacts on endangered species, the Rock Springs flood plain, railroad transportation, grazing, local coal mines and even the Flaming Gorge.
