Former University of Wyoming basketball All-American Josh Adams is resting comfortably at home in Castle Rock, Colo., following a car accident in the Denver-metro area this past weekend.
Adams was hospitalized following the accident and underwent some surgery, but is already home at his parents’ house and is resting comfortably. No one else was injured in the accident. No alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.

Adams concluded his Wyoming Basketball career this past season, earning Honorable Mention All-America honors from Associated Press. He ranks fifth in career scoring in Wyoming history, with 1,819 points, and is tied with Eric Leckner for the most games played in school history (131).
Adams set a new University of Wyoming single-season scoring record this past season, scoring 740 points to break the previous record of 701 points scored by Flynn Robinson in the 1964-65 season.
Adams averaged 24.7 points per game as a senior to lead the Mountain West and rank No. 3 in the nation. He earned First Team All-MW honors from conference coaches, was named the MW Player of the Year by media covering the Mountain West and earned All-District honors from both the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Association of Basketball Coaches .
As a junior, Adams helped lead the Cowboys to the Mountain West Tournament Championship and earned Tournament MVP honors as the Cowboys captured an automatic berth to the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
Adams signed a professional contract with Avtodor Saratov of the Russian VTB United League. The team has issued a release stating that they are keeping Adams with hopes that he may be able to play in the second half of the season.
